Meandering Lines is a space where creativity and nature intertwine. Inspired by the meditative act of walking through forests and open landscapes, this venture invites participants to slow down, unwind, and connect with the natural world. Using charcoal or pencil, they capture fleeting moments by making intuitive, mindless marks on paper — allowing thoughts to drift as the lines take shape.

This process is not about producing perfect artwork but about embracing stillness, spontaneity, and the joy of mark-making. Whether you're walking along forest paths, pausing to observe the textures of bark and leaves, or simply letting your hand follow the rhythm of your thoughts, Meandering Lines nurtures a sense of presence and reflection.

Workshops, guided walks, and creative sessions provide a gentle space for anyone seeking a mindful, nature-inspired escape. It's an opportunity to breathe deeply, let go of perfection, and discover beauty in imperfection — one wandering line at a time.

Based on the Norfolk/Suffolk border between Diss and Thetford, our walks and sessions take place in the local fens and woodlands. We are blessed with an abundance of nature reserves and beauty spots that provide the perfect backdrop for these mindful experiences.

Sessions are open to groups of up to 15 people and are designed for anyone seeking a moment of calm and balance. These walks are not about art or drawing — they’re about taking time to breathe, observe, and let go.

Please send an email if you’d like to join me, and check the Events page for forthcoming sessions.

I’m so looking forward to sharing this with you.
